New Post: Director of Dream Cultivation

*NEW 2/15/23: Announcing our New Director of Dream Cultivation: Stephen Bailey

Stephen is a Brooklyn based independent film producer and business consultant. He has worked as a producer and/or financier on more than 17 feature films, including BURDEN (Sundance Audience Award Winner 2018), STRANGE NEGOTIATIONS (SXSW 2019), and LOCKED DOWN (HBO Max 2021) to name a few.

Prior to his work in film, he spent more than a decade in marketing, content creation, and business development. Whether creative or traditional business pursuits, Stephen enjoys cultivating and promoting new possibilities regardless of how esoteric or far-fetched an idea may seem. This intersection of aesthetic insight, hopeful creativity, and a focus on intentional collaboration is what we think makes Stephen a perfect fit for this new role as the Dream Forum grows into its third season.

Background: Underlying Goldenwood’s vision to see work revived by love is a guiding framework positing that “work revived” arises from taking seriously the reality that we have a God who speaks to us, and who gives us dreams of His Kingdom so that we might cultivate this world in ways that reflect His character and embody His glory. The Dream Forum was established as a way to ignite the dreams received into the world within the context of a community who shares this common vision and passionately collaborates toward that end. This role will be critical in further developing and increasing the effectiveness of Goldenwood’s approach to dream cultivation.
