SUMMARY:TRELLIS: Knowing Yourself
DESCRIPTION:Who am I? We seldom make time to unpack this short but critical question that affects everything we do. Our identity is found not simply by looking within ourselves but by understanding the voices in our lives—from both the past and the present—that have shaped who we are\, and continue to do so! As relational beings\, the voices that resonate most deeply in our lives are the ones forming our identity. Yet we go about our daily lives unaware of the voices we have allowed to distort our self-perception and minimize the wonder of being fashioned in the image of a Triune God. \nThroughout the two-week experience\, you will be introduced to a variety of prayer forms\, learning to walk conversationally with God\, recognizing His voice in your life.  Trellis will guide you to integrate life-giving spiritual practices into everyday rhythms\, transforming and renewing our sense of calling.  Enter into this season with a new structure that provides the space and a community for hearing God’s voice and knowing who He reveals Himself to be in the midst of your everyday routines\, leading to holistic vitality. \nThe TRELLIS structure includes: \n\n1 Intro Session: Sun Dec 3\, 7:30-9p EST. (Online experience for theological introduction and time in listening quads. Recorded for those who cannot join live.)\n6 Communal Guided Listening Sessions: every Mon\, Wed\, and Fri 12:20-12:45p EST\, during the weeks of Dec 4 and Dec 11. (Attend live or listen to the 25-min recordings at personal set times.)\nDaily Scripture Meditation and Exercise Pages: Individually in your Listening Book.
