DESCRIPTION:Come for an intimate evening featuring Sandra and hear the new vision she’s been developing alongside Goldenwood to nurture a generative community of singer-songwriters through rhythms of listening and rest\, leading to a holistic fruitfulness that is deeper and more lasting for the good of both the artist and the world\, ultimately changing the way of making. \nShe will perform and invite us into song\, and share stories from her creative process. Your ticket includes a reception afterwards with Sandra and the Goldenwood community. \nTickets: $40 stand-alone or $25 as part of the Goldenwood Institute Peek on Saturday October 21st. \nDoors open at 7:45p. \nBUY TICKETS\nSandra McCracken is a nationally renowned singer-songwriter and hymn writer from Nashville\, Tennessee. A prolific recording artist\, McCracken has produced 14 solo albums over two decades. Blending the old and new\, Sandra has also shown a unique ability to recast sacred scripture texts into theologically rich yet accessible songs. Her thoughtful lyrics and gospel melodies have become staple anthems in churches across the U.S. As a published writer\, she contributes a regular column in Christianity Today and hosts the Slow Work podcast\, connecting spirituality and the creative process. Sandra has worked alongside David and Amilee for many years\, both formally and informally\, most recently in the role of Creative Fellow\, as together they are developing a cohort-based holistic formation program to cultivate a new vision for the music industry.

DESCRIPTION:Our misconceptions of God can keep us from experiencing the incredible privileges of divine communion with Father\, Son\, and Spirit. Despite the ultimate mystery of who God is (how can the finite truly know the infinite?)\, the gospel is that this Triune God eagerly calls to us as both friend and child. \nThe (optional) accompanying text for this TRELLIS will be Dallas Willard’s Hearing God. This is a rich text as Willard guides us through how it is that we can actually hear God’s voice in our lives. With Scripture as its foundation\, Willard offers practical guidance in cultivating a life lived in conversation with God. \nThroughout the two-week experience\, you will be introduced to a variety of prayer forms\, learning to walk conversationally with God\, recognizing His voice in your life.  Trellis will guide you to integrate life-giving spiritual practices into everyday rhythms\, transforming and renewing our sense of calling.  Enter into this season with a new structure that provides the space and a community for hearing God’s voice and knowing who He reveals Himself to be in the midst of your everyday routines\, leading to holistic vitality. \nThe TRELLIS structure includes: \n\n1 Intro Session: Sun Oct 22\, 7:30-9p EST.
