SUMMARY:Spring Retreat | New Life from Work Wounds: A Communal Kintsugi Experience
DESCRIPTION:Work difficulties are inevitable\, but it’s often easier to bury the pain and “move on” without taking time to uncover what’s really going on beneath the surface. What if\, instead\, we created the space and time to be led by God and others in processing these challenges toward greater wholeness? \nJoin us in Princeton for a unique in-person experience surrounded by natural beauty and a trusted community to help you discern God’s voice above all other voices in your life. This carefully curated weekend of rest includes time alone and times together\, designed to give you the space to slow down and the structure to process the rapidly moving pieces of your life. \nOur hope for each Listening Retreat is that your inner spirit might be expanded with new hope\, reviving your work with love. \n————- \nWhat is Kintsugi? Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese craft of mending broken vessels with gold\, creating a new piece more beautiful because it has been broken.  This process has been instrumental to Goldenwood and we’ll explore and practice Kintsugi together over the course of this retreat weekend. \n————- \nLOCATION: The Erdman Center\, 20 Library Place\, Princeton\, NJ 08540 \nOUR WEEKEND SCHEDULE weaves together time alone and time together within the following time frames:\n> Friday evening May 5\, 7:30-9:30p EST\n> Saturday May 6\, 9:30a-9:30p EST\n> Sunday May 7\, 9:30a-3:00p EST \nCOST: $350\n> Partial scholarships available; email info@goldenwoodnyc.org to request. \nREGISTER HERE\nYour registration includes 2 nights lodging at the Erdman Center\, guided bone-broth morning fasts\, and two onsite lunches. Dinners will be on your own or in coordinated small groups. Princeton is accessible via NJTransit from NY Penn Station or Newark International Airport.
