Our vision is to see work revived by love. 
 
Goldenwood is a non-profit that exists to develop ecosystems of hope by cultivating a new vision of work. By fostering life-giving spiritual rhythms, we facilitate a wide range of individual and communal programs and provide unconventional organizational consulting.  
 
Dr. Rev. David Kim and Amilee Watkins bring over 30 years of collective experience and more than a decade of partnership in transformative spiritual development focused on the renewal of work. Known for their innovative and visionary leadership in Christian formation, they have created and honed programs for individual and communal growth that continue to serve thousands of people in cities around the country and globe. Beneficiaries of David and Amilee’s work speak highly of their extraordinary commitment to excellence as well as depth of content. Together, they bring a joy-filled enthusiasm for faith expressing itself through love in all areas of life.

David Kim

CEO
David Kim is the CEO and co-founder of Goldenwood. Over the past several decades, Rev. Dr. David Kim has trained, consulted, and counseled hundreds of leaders and organizations in developing a robust, meaningful integration of faith and work. David’s past experiences as VP of Faith and Work, Executive Director of the Center for Faith & Work, Director of the Gotham Fellowship, and editor of the NIV Faith and Work Bible have given him a breadth of exposure to the challenges of integrating faith and work. His expertise as a key thought-leader in the faith and work space has been well-established having addressed prominent institutions and churches around the world. David's passion is to help people and organizations see the unseen realities that give rise to the world we create.

Amilee Watkins

COO
Amilee Watkins is the COO and co-founder of Goldenwood. With over 15 years of experience in the faith and work space, Amilee has dedicated her career to leadership development and spiritual formation. She spent 9 years at the Center for Faith & Work (CFW) in NYC, cultivating leaders through innovative programs and initiatives. Before her tenure at CFW, Amilee honed her leadership skills at Starbucks Coffee Co., where she spent 7 years managing teams and developing future leaders from entry-level baristas to management positions. As a Brand Ambassador, she launched new products in the NYC region, discovering the profound connection between faith and work over countless cups of coffee. Inspiring and deeply committed, Amilee continues to lead Goldenwood with a vision that transcends the ordinary, inviting everyone to experience the divine in their everyday work.
Sandra McCracken

Sandra McCracken

Creative Fellow
Sandra McCracken is a singer-songwriter and hymn writer from Nashville, Tennessee. A prolific recording artist, McCracken has produced 14 solo albums over two decades. Her best selling release, Psalms (2015) received critical acclaim, followed by God’s Highway (2017) which made the top 50 on Billboard Heatseekers chart without a major label. Blending the old and new, Sandra has also shown a unique ability to recast sacred scripture texts into theologically rich yet accessible songs. Her thoughtful lyrics and gospel melodies in songs like “We Will Feast In The House Of Zion,” “Steadfast" and “Thy Mercy My God” have become staple anthems in churches across the U.S. As a published writer, she contributes a regular column in Christianity Today and released her first book "Send Out Your Light" in September 2021.
Stephen Bailey

Stephen Bailey

Director of Dream Cultivation
Stephen is a Brooklyn based independent film producer and business consultant. He has worked as a producer and/or financier on more than 17 feature films, including BURDEN (Sundance Audience Award Winner 2018), STRANGE NEGOTIATIONS (SXSW 2019), and LOCKED DOWN (HBO Max 2021) to name a few. Prior to his work in film, he spent more than a decade in marketing, content creation, and business development. Whether creative or traditional business pursuits, Stephen enjoys cultivating and promoting new possibilities regardless of how esoteric or far-fetched an idea may seem. This intersection of aesthetic insight, hopeful creativity, and a focus on intentional collaboration is what we think makes Stephen a perfect fit for this new role as the Dream Forum grows into its third season.
Colleen Castle

Colleen Castle

Creative and Community Director, Institute
Colleen Castle is a Brooklyn-based independent producer, and former advertising client services director with 12 years experience in brand building, creative campaign development, and commercial production across a range of global and domestic clients. She’s also a Goldenwood Founder and greatly values the profound spiritual growth and sweet friendships that have developed over the years through Nautilus, Trellis, a beta iteration affectionately called BrewCrew, and other Goldenwood events.
Nate Mancini

Nate Mancini

Production Associate, Institute
Nate Mancini is a video producer from Rochester, NY, where he lives with his wife Megan and kids Lucy, Sam, and Rosie. He is the founder & director of Forefront Festival, a nonprofit at the intersection of the arts and the Christian faith. He loves to create videos that showcase the work of great artists & organizations. Nate has been instrumental in telling the Goldenwood story, crafting and producing key videos for Dream Forum, Nautilus, and the Institute.
